Movember funds for PIPS

Thosaigh nós an Mo san Astráil, áit a dtugtar ‘mo’ ar chroimbéal, ach tá sé i ndiaidh fás go rábach ar fud an domhain agus i mí na Samhna gach bliain ligeann fir ar fud an domhain croimbéal le cuidiú le carthanachtaí sláinte a bhaineann le fir. I mbliana ligfidh mé féin croimbéal ar son PIPS, carthanacht a phléann le daoine atá i mbaol an fhéinmharaithe. Rachaidh an £300 a ba mhaith liomsa a thógáil chun sochair don obair a ghní siad le fir a bhfuil fadhbanna meabhairghalair acu.

I will be embarking on the Movember adventure to raise funds for the men’s mental health programmes of the PIPS charity in Belfast.  I visited the PIPS offices on the Antrim Road in September and was bowled over by the enthusiasm, compassion and dedication of its team. PIPS describes its role as providing “support services for people in suicidal crisis and those impacted by suicide including specialised support for young people bereaved through suicide and care services to help people engage successfully with long term mental health care”.
